About Laura Goode

Laura Goode 's interracial gay hip-hop love story for teens, SISTER MISCHIEF, was released by Candlewick Press in 2011. Her poems and essays have appeared in The Rumpus, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Faster Times, Boston Review, Denver Quarterly, Dossier, Slope, and Fawlt, and in 2012 she will produce and star in her first feature film, FARAH GOES BANG, co-written with Meera Menon. Laura was raised outside Minneapolis, received her BA and MFA from Columbia University, and now lives in San Francisco.
