Carmen Petaccio received his MFA in fiction from Columbia University. His fiction, nonfiction, and criticism have previously appeared in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Texas Observer, the Awl, and the Atlantic. He is currently pursuing his PhD in English at the University of Miami.
