This coming March 1 and 2, The New Inquiry will be proud to cosponsor the third year of the Theorizing The Web conference, and its first year in New York City at the CUNY Graduate Center. Co-chaired by TNI contributors Nathan Jurgenson and PJ Rey, TtW is a gathering scholars, writers, and artists to present ideas related to the Internet and its social implications. Surveillance theorist David Lyon will give the keynote, and our own Adrian Chen is among the invited speakers. The conference comes out of the group blog Cyborgology which hosts an extraordinary group of scholars writing on technology, and it's a privilege to co-present with them.
If you want to participate, submissions are open until Sunday, Jan. 6. You can read the call for papers here.
