Harvard Prison Divestment Campaign

The Harvard Prison Divestment Campaign (HPDC) is a reparatory-justice campaign demanding that the Harvard administration (1) disclose its full investment in prisons, (2) divest these investments, and (3) reinvest funds in ways that would benefit communities that are harmed by mass incarceration. HPDC organizers Xitlalli Alvarez, Anna Nathanson, Jarrett Drake, Ismail Buffins, and Amanda Chan are named plaintiffs in HPDC’s current lawsuit against Harvard. Anneke Dunbar-Gronke is an alumni organizer with HPDC.
