After the Screening: This is Not a Film (Podcast)

TNI's premier podcast features a conversational review of This is Not a Film, a movie by Iranian director Jafar Panahi. In the film, we watch as Panahi, under house arrest, awaits the final verdict of a case brought against him by the Iranian government. The entire film takes place over a single day in Panahi’s apartment in Tehran, and is made up almost entirely of Panahi talking to the camera and to his friend, director Mojtaba Mirtahmasb. A/V Editor Willie Osterweil and writer and theater director Patrick Harrison discuss the film as they walk through the streets of New York immediately upon leaving the screening.
