Khairani Barokka

is an Indonesian writer, poet, and artist in London. She works, is published, and has been given grants and street food options internationally. Okka's poetry-art book Indigenous Species (Tilted Axis Press) is out November 2016, and she is co-editor, with Ng Yi-Sheng, of HEAT: A Southeast Asian Urban Anthology (Buku Fixi Publishing, 2016). She is currently co-editing Nine Arches Press' UK D/deaf and disabled poets' anthology, with Sandra Alland and Daniel Sluman, and is a PhD by practice candidate in Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths.
