About imp kerr

imp kerr ////// my father was in his 20s strolling on the quais of paris when he found that little book of short stories by edgar poe in which one of them, the imp of the perverse—plot story: a man kills another man and gets away with it, but a bizarre silly impulsion pushes him to reveal he is the murderer; he’s then sentenced to death; basically a tale about self-destruction and those instances when we do something “because we feel we should not,” something i am totally incompetent of accomplishing—would inspire my first name. my dad is french and a man of words and music for whom onomatopoeia always prevails over semantics. now after 136 years of contempt (the imp of the perverse was published in 1845) this cute yet quite pejorative word, imp, humanized and extraordinarily blossomed into something decent, blonde, inoffensive, w/ freckles and blue eyes and tears, in uppsala, sweden where i was born and grew up, until 5. from that period i have memories fabricated from pictures and stories told by my parents; it says i was everything but a little demon.
